Each and every morning, the 10yr old tries to sell his 8yr old brother at the bus stop. He is willing to take almost anything in trade. A quarter, a pack of gum, even a half used pencil. At first I thought he was joking, now I am not so sure.Last night after being sent upstairs to brush their teeth and put on their pajamas, I heard the boys rough housing. I went upstairs to get them back on track. When I walked in to the 10yr old's room, what did I see? The 8yr old was riding on the 10yr old's back saying "gitty up!". When he saw me, the 8yr old exclaimed "Look at me, I'm riding on a Jack Ass Donkey. That's a regular old donkey, you know."
If I was the 10yr old, I would try to sell him, too...

That made me crack up!!! Sibling love...or not.
ReplyDeleteLMAO
ReplyDeleteThat's great! ^_^
LOL!! Don't sell him now, he'll be worth a lot more when he's a comedian :p
ReplyDeleteSecond brothers are such a joy!!
ReplyDeleteThat is just too funny!! Sometimes I think my husband might like to sell me for a dollar.
ReplyDeleteMan, can I buy him? Sounds to me like he would fit in just so with my crew. I think I have some gum in my purse.... maybe even a few quarters. Does he accept Visa?
ReplyDeleteI'm STILL trying to sell my brother...nobody will take him!
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteThis post is great! My brother talks about the craziness that his older sister put him through and I giggle but I am pretty sure that I was just as 'sisterly' (didn't wanna use a negative word) to my little brother.
ReplyDeletePS. Stopping by from SITS
ReplyDeleteLOL! This brings me right back to my childhood. My little brother and I completely HATED each other! No one ever agreed to buy him from me, but I did convince him to pretend to be my sister, rather than a "stupid brother" for almost 2 weeks. That's another story though :p

ReplyDeletehaha, so funny!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat IS hilarious and from the mouth of a babe :) Imagine what they'll be like in another 10 years - full of sass in the best of ways!!
ReplyDeleteWhat?! Was he explaining that it was a donkey so he wouldn't get in trouble for saying jack-ass? I wonder if the 10 year old would trade the 8 year old for an actual donkey?
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteToo funny.
Oh, that is wonderful.
